I.V. SKILLS WORKSHOPS

In today’s world of mounting vascular access complications - infiltration, phlebitis, nerve damage, line infections, sepsis and the increasing challenge of finding veins - traditional teaching methods have become obsolete, if not counter-productive to the delivery of the best care possible to patients.

Participants in my 3 hour workshops - recent graduates and experienced nurses alike - return to tell me their experiences after participating in this class: higher I.V. success rates and more precise and comfortable insertions. They are more confident, more equipped and more courageous about IV insertion.

The adage “See one, do one, teach one” has become obsolete. Nurses, medical technicians, nursing students and other practitioners of IV therapy can benefit greatly from this 3 hour class. Hear what class participants have to say.
